Our
Projects

Canopeum has two forest models, the water protection prototype and agroforestry model.  Each model actively builds biodiversity and serves a primary function of ecosystem development.

With our research partnership, we are looking at the best way to build a polyculture forest using indigenous trees and shrubs. A vast and long endeavor.

To begin, we are looking at the most local and cost effective mulch to reduce weed competition and allow the space for the sapling to establish itself.

Thanks to our renegades, we have the pleasure to introduce Project Wood Turtle and Project Bond.

PROJECT WOOD TURTLE

Yan Gordon is working to protect the endangered wood turtle. Through his previous actions with Coridor Appalache, he has brought the poplutaion from 4 - 9 turtles. In search of continuing to rebuild the population, Yan has joined the re-evolution. He will host a forest and build a 20m buffer to continue his efforts to protect his neighboring turtles.

PROJECT BOND

Will and Sara with Rocket Construction will host our first agroforestry prototype. This model will look at timber selection and support species to build a poly-culture forest with an ROI. Will and Sara have made a 6 acre contribution, along with their personal aspiration to connect people to planet.
